St Anne’s Arts Centre will be celebrating timeless children’s book, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland this August, it’s 150 years old in 2015.
In the evening as the light fades St Anne’s will become the perfect wonderland party venue surrounded by twinkly lights. Guests will enjoy a welcome drink from Alice’s Drinkery in the undercroft and then choose from a delicious two course menu created by local chef Gary Shapland, served under the trees. The party will be entertained by musician Sam Dowden with his clever wordplay and funky rhythms. After the food, the band: The Retro Rhythm Rascals, a fabulous vintage jazz quintet will swing into action with tunes from the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. There’s sure to be dancing, toe-tapping, finger clicking and general madness. The ticket price of £25 includes your welcome drink, the full menu and entertainment – from email@example.com there will be a pay bar open all evening for extra drinks and other surprises.
