When: Sun 9th Aug
Time: 10.30am - 3.30pm
Barnstaple Mayor, Cllr Mrs Val Elkins, has now given special permission for the Mayors Parlour to be used for the event so the market on Sunday 9 August will be bigger than ever. Stalls are also now extending into the High Street end of the Pannier market as well.
The theme for the month is a celebration of the coast, you can expect to see breath taking sea scape photography, sea glass and surf jewellery, coastal ceramics, sparkling stained glass boats and driftwood creations. We are joined by a flurry of new North Devon artists, makers and artisans all living and working within a short distance of the beaches which inspire their artwork.
Buying work from local makers not only supports the local economy but can also make a new addition to your home even more special. You can tell your visitors exactly who made your purchase and how.
The monthly craft market compliments the superb Real Food Market which happens in the Pannier Market on the same day. Please visit and take home a little seaside magic to brighten the rainy summer days.
